Joseph Lyman, PIW's President, believes the quality of Graphic Excellence Awards submissions was evident in this year's competition. He says, "The print projects we received were simply amazing. Technology is certainly helping Wisconsin's Printing Industry achieve greater efficiency, but the print craftsmanship behind the products was apparent. We will continue to celebrate the excellent work these companies and their employees have produced throughout the year."
The GEA's recognize those responsible for the creation and production of print communications in Wisconsin. The competition promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media.
PIW is the states graphic arts trade association, representing an industry with more than 36,000 employees and over $6 Billion in annual sales (2010 Print Market Atlas).
