The day after Labor Day is designated as Orange Tuesday—the day to get all your Halloween supplies early. It’s also a great day to start planning and provide ideas to promote this frightfully fun holiday with your customers.

Halloween History

The word Halloween, also known as Hallowe'en or All Hallows' Eve, originates from the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain (pronounced "sah-win"). 
Samhain was a harvest time used by ancient pagans to prepare for winter. The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31, boundaries between the worlds of the living and dead overlapped.
